Marketing Strategy for Medical Device Teams

We simulate how physicians, hospital admins, and procurement will respond to your messaging.

6 Years at a Class II Medical Device Company

Global web properties across US, EU, UK, and Canada. HIPAA, GDPR, consent management, accessibility, analytics. Planned and executed large-scale website migrations. Worked with product marketing, brand experience, international teams, and agencies. Sat through the compliance reviews and usability studies. I know what gets flagged.

What We Actually Do

Simulation and audits. Not regulatory consulting.

Message Testing by Stakeholder

Simulate how physicians, administrators, and procurement respond to your positioning. See what resonates with each audience before you commit to a campaign.

Typical output: Stakeholder response analysis, messaging recommendations by audience, risk flags

Compliant Language Simulation

We take your public safety information and responsible use statements and simulate how they translate into marketing language that resonates with physicians, admins, and procurement.

Typical output: Messaging options based on approved language, stakeholder response simulation

Campaign & Website Audit

Your campaign needs messaging that matches your web visitors and a marketing website that is performant and compliant. We audit both — identifying what's driving qualified leads and what's breaking the experience.

Typical output: Channel performance breakdown, website performance audit, compliance flags, reallocation recommendations

Competitive Response Simulation

Simulate how your market will respond to competitor positioning. Pressure-test your differentiation before they force you to react.

Typical output: Competitive positioning analysis, differentiation gaps, response recommendations

Signs You Need Outside Perspective

Multi-stakeholder complexity. Physicians care about clinical depth. Administrators care about workflow. Procurement cares about ROI. Finding messaging that works across all three is hard.

Unclear attribution. Some channels feel like they're working. Others don't. It's hard to tell what's actually driving qualified leads.

Competitive shift. A competitor launched similar claims. Differentiation that used to be clear isn't as sharp anymore.

Compliance friction. Copy keeps coming back with redlines. It's slowing things down and you're looking for language that moves faster through review.

New territory. Expanding into a new specialty or geography. The positioning that worked before might need adjustment.

Website migration ahead. Moving to a new platform or consolidating properties. You need a plan that preserves compliance, analytics, and SEO.

FAQ

No. I'm not a regulatory consultant and don't provide regulatory advice. This is simulation, audits, and automation — not copywriting. Talk to your regulatory and legal teams for regulatory advice.

A two-page memo with a longer report on our findings. Audits are 10 pages max and interactive — you can export them and ask questions through our AI and RAG system.

The default engagement is strategy and audit work. If execution support is needed, that's scoped separately. But most clients have internal teams or agencies for execution; they need outside perspective on strategy.

Depends on scope. A focused positioning audit might be 2-3 weeks. A comprehensive campaign performance review might be 4-6 weeks. We agree on timeline upfront and I tell you if something will take longer than expected. Rush service available at extra cost.
